RCU Student Scholarship Award

RCU Credit Union is committed to supporting our student members in achieving their goals. Each year, we award scholarships that recognize both academic excellence and community leadership.

The RCU Student Scholarship is open to members pursuing full-time studies at an accredited university or college. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement (minimum 75% average or GPA equivalent) and active community involvement.

We hope this support helps students succeed in their post-secondary education. Don’t miss your chance to apply!

Must be an RCU member (first named on the account)
Open to Canadian citizens or landed immigrants residing in Ontario
Evaluation: 60% academic performance, 40% community involvement
Deadline: October 1, 2025

CU Succeed Youth Bursary

The CU Succeed Youth Bursary, founded in 2016 by the Ontario Credit Union Foundation, supports Ontario students facing financial need by offering awards of $1,000 to $3,000. The award is granted annually after reviewing applications on financial need, community involvement, academic achievement, and a personal statement.

Eligibility: Must be a credit union member (or have a parent who is), Ontario resident, and enrolled in post-secondary studies.
Application Period: Opens annually in the spring.
