Part-time Member Services Representative

What do we expect?

Provide prompt, courteous member service not only by processing member’s financial transactions, but also by cross selling (or referring), at every opportunity, our full range of products and services, thus ensuring that our members expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

What would you do?

  • Participate in deposit building, continuously promoting and selling Credit Union products and services to members and non-members.
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to members, striving to increase member satisfaction with the level of service provided.
  • Provide assistance to members by answering questions and providing quality member service through a limited range of financial services (deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments).
  • Fulfill members financial needs: cash/certify cheques, receive bill payments, order cheques, buy/sell foreign cash, process member statements, personal money orders, assist with RRSP and RRIF, set up term deposits, pay utility bills, assists with money transfer procedures.
  • Develop a basic knowledge of all Credit Union products and services.
  • Learn about new products and services as they are introduced.
  • Maintain and balance teller cash.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management team.

What do you need to have?

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Lithuanian.
  • Customer service orientation, organization and problem solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Have the flexibility to work a varying schedule, which could change, including evenings and every weekend – we are open on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Willingness to work at either branch of RCU when requested.
  • Be willing to accept increased responsibilities.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with staff and members alike and a desire to not just do a job, but to do it well.
  • Professional demeanor and professional dress.
  • Be comfortable using the Internet and e-mail programs, including the use of RCU’s on-line and mobile banking.
