Sunday March 29, 2020

Update Branch Hours – Effective Monday, March 30, 2020

Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, no more than three members, and only members, will be in our branch at any time. We are trying to adhere to the recommendations of gatherings of five people or less, as was outlined by Premier Doug Ford on Saturday, March 28, 2020. If there are three people in the branch, we will ask you to wait outside of the credit union. For time-sensitive in-branch service, please call ahead 416-532-3400 to set an appointment.

These include the following services:

  • opening an account
  • a new Member Card debit card
  • new investments, registered products - but not GIC renewals
  • wire transfers

GIC renewals, bill payments, transfers between accounts, setting up online banking, mortgage renewals, general information are all items that can be handled by phone or email. We will work with you to find the best solution, one that can avoid an in-branch visit if possible.

Message from RCU Credit Union on COVID-19

Dear Members,

Like you, we at RCU Credit Union have been following the concerns and developments on the spread of the COVID-19 virus around the world. This week the World Health Organization has declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

RCU continues to take measures to protect our staff and our members from infection and to assure continued operations at our credit union branches. We are actively following the guidelines established by Health Canada https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19.html and the World Health Organization. We continue to ensure that our staff is well informed and have taken extra steps to clean the high touch areas within the branches throughout the day. We remain committed to our members and ask that you also follow the recommendations of Health Canada. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or any of the following; fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or are in self-isolation, or have recently travelled, please contact us to see if we can assist you before you visit a branch.

We have many other ways that we can service your banking needs. You can call in your request 416-532-3400 or 1-877-525-7285 or email your request to rpcul@rpcul.com. If you currently are not enrolled in our online banking www.rpcul.com or using our mobile app, please call us, and

we can assist you in registering for it. If you are having challenges with online banking, call us, and we will help you.

These are unsettling times, but we want you to know that we have pandemic management plans in place. Our goal is to keep our staff and members safe while continuing to serve our members’ needs. Our branch hours remain unchanged at this time.

Please continue to monitor our website www.rpcul.com and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RCUResurrectionCreditUnion/  for any updates or changes.

The health and well being of our members and staff remains our primary concern.

Sincerely,

Linda Moroz

Chief Executive Officer
